Our Beginning

On April 1, 1962, Edgar L. Hull founded Hull Lift Truck, Inc. with two employees in a modest single office garage in Elkhart, Indiana. Little did Ed know that his small family business would grow into one of the most respected materials handling dealerships in the country. At the same time, the reputation Hull Lift Truck has earned should not have surprised Ed because he created customer loyalty by offering the highest quality equipment at a fair price with a sincere commitment to customer service and satisfaction.

Hull Lift Truck Today

As we approach our 50 years in business, Hull Lift Truck continues to operate as a family owned business and adheres to those principles Ed stood for. Hull Lift Truck is proud not only of our long history of doing whatever it takes to satisfy our customers, but also boasts the highest quality product lines we have ever offered.

In 1992, Hull acquired the Toyota Industrial Equipment dealerships in northern Indiana and western Michigan. Toyota is the industry leader in quality, dependability, productivity and safety. Hull Lift Truck also represents Drexel and Hoist forklift trucks, Bobcat skid-steer loaders and excavators, Nilfisk-Advance industrial floor cleaning equipment, and rough-terrain forklift trucks, among others.  Hull designed and is the exclusive distributor of a unique tow tractor conversion built specifically for our customers in the manufactured housing industry. With four full-service facilities in northern Indiana and western Michigan, our award- winning services are the reason our customers have been coming back to Hull Lift Truck for forty-eight years.
